2025-2026

The Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Trnava University in Trnava conducted research in 2025–2026 within the framework of the international SMART UA project, focusing on housing and employment of displaced persons from Ukraine in Slovakia.

The main outputs of the project are national analytical reports addressing the housing market and the labour market in the context of the integration of Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia. The reports combine qualitative and quantitative research, mapping of relevant stakeholders, and the identification of best practices. Their aim is to provide evidence-based support for strategic decision-making, public policy development, and the design of systemic solutions in the field of integration of persons under temporary protection.
