Príprava a realizácia Medzinárodnej konferencie klasickej archeológie k 375. výročiu Trnavskej univerzity s názvom „The Phenomena of Cultural Borders and Border Cultures Across the Passage of Time (from the Bronze Age to the Late Antiquity). Konferencia je zameraná na mimoriadne aktuálnu tému a nadväzuje na tradíciu vedeckých podujatí organizovaných Katedrou klasickej archeológie každé dva roky s výstupmi v podobe cudzojazyčných zborníkov. Doterajší záujem odborníkov a priaznivý medzinárodný ohlas je dostatočnou zárukou na úspešné uskutočnenie predloženého projektu, ktorý si zároveň kladie za cieľ stať sa dôstojným príspevkom k významnému výročiu TU. Je určený nielen renomovaným bádateľom, ale aj novej, nastupujúcej generácii a záujemcom o túto tému z radov verejnosti. Jeho súčasťou je aj propagácia Slovenska, mesta Trnavy a trnavského regiónu, osobitne z hľadiska histórie, historických a archeologických pamiatok.
Preparation and realization of the International conference in classical archaeology titled “The Phenomena of Cultural Borders and Border Cultures Across the Passage of Time (from the Bronze Age to the Late Antiquity),” held on the occasion of the 375th anniversary of Trnava University. The focus of the conference is a highly topical issue, and the conference follows the tradition of scientific events organized by the Department of classical archaeology every two years, resulting in publication of foreign language journals. The previous interest of scholars and the favourable international response guarantee the success of the proposed project. The conference aims to become a dignified contribution to the significant anniversary of Trnava University. In addition to renowned scholars, the conference is intended for the new, upcoming generation as well as others from the public interested in this topic. The project also includes promotion of Slovakia, the city of Trnava and Trnava region, particularly from a historical perspective and the perspective of historical and archaeological monuments.
