Anotácia
Projekt nadväzuje na pretrvávajúci historicko-filozofický problém identity osobnosti (osoby). Teoretické východisko projektu tvorí chápanie človeka ako unitas multiplex, jednotu založenú na mnohorakosti. Metodologicky to predstavuje skúmanie problematiky človeka na priesečníku poznatkov z oblasti filozofie, kognitívnej psychológie, psychiatrie a neurovied. Cieľ projektu spočíva vo/v: a) formulácii všeobecného východiska interdisciplinárneho skúmania, b) integrácii teoretických, experimentálnych a klinických metód a c) náčrte modelu človeka a roly identity osobnosti ako základu integrity indivídua.
Problem of personal identity in contemporary society
Research project is concerned with the prevailing historico-philosophical problem of personal identity. Person characterized as unitas miltiplex, unity based on variability, has been considered as a theoretical starting point of the inquiry. From the point of methodology, project aims at investigating the nature of human beings grounded in philosophy, cognitive psychology, psychiatry and neuroscience. Fundamental objectives of the project include the following: a) establishing a general starting point in studying personal identity, b) cooperation of theoretical, experimental and clinical methods of inquiry, c) search for a new model of a person based on the phenomenon of personal identity as the core of man's integrity.
