BILATERAL STRATEGIC INITIATIVE STUDIO 25: ICELAND
The main objective of the initiative is to improve mutual knowledge and understanding between Slovakia and Iceland through cultural education of the general public about Icelandic culture. This is primarily achieved by engaging young people from Slovakia up to the age of 25 in the so-called Studio 25: Iceland.
In this program, participants do not only passively receive information about Icelandic culture (cultural education 2.0), but also actively participate in the creation of audiovisual outputs about Icelandic culture (cultural education 3.0). The initiative is expected to contribute to a qualitative change in their attitudes, which is examined through an accompanying sociological survey.
