Expert on Roman Provincial Archeology. Participant in the research of the Roman frontier (limes romanus), the Roman pottery and stone monuments. Author and co-author of several monographies (e.g. Terra sigillata v barbariku / Terra sigillata in Barbaricum, with P. Roth, 1988; Terra Sigillata im Vorfeld des nordpannonischen Limes, 1997), as well as of studies and articles. She participates systematically on the excavation of the Roman fort at Iža (Kelemantia). In Trnava she lectures on Archaeology of Roman Provinces and Methods and Techniques of the Theoretical and Field Archaeology. She leads seminars and consults graduation theses with her students.

One of the first Classical Archaeology graduates from the Trnava University. He finished his PhD thesis at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg, Germany. He specializes in Classical and Roman Provincial Archaeology and participates in research projects and excavations of the Department of Classical Archaeology. Author of the monography Römische Importe in der Slowakei. prof. PhDr. Vladimír Varsik, CSc.
Employed by the Archaeological Institute of the Academy of Science in Nitra. At the Department of Classical Archaeology lectures he on Slovakia and Roman Empire. He led several extensive excavations of Germanic (Veľký Meder, Bratislava-Trnávka, Beckov) and Roman Provincial settlements (Bratislava-Rusovce). He focuses on the research of the Roman fort of Gerulata (Das römische Kastell von Rusovce-Gerulata. Jahrbuch RGZM 43, 1996). At the present time, he deals with settlements of Quadi in the territory of Slovakia (Veľký Meder und Bratislava-Trnávka: zwei germanische Siedlungen im Vorfeld des pannonischen Limes. Anodos – Suppl. 3, Trnava 2003).

Prominent expert on the topic of the European Bronze Age. Author of the monographies Die Bronzehortfunde in der Slowakei (1970), Die Äxte und Beile in der Slowakei (1970), Die Nadeln in der Slowakei (1980), Halsringe und Diademe in der Slowakei (1984), Die Bronzegefässe in der Slowakei (1991), Die Fibeln in der Slowakei (1991), Die Sicheln in der slowakei (with V. Furmánek, 2006), Svedectvá predkov / Testimonies of Predecessors (1994), academic scripts Minojská a mykénska civilizácia / Minoan and Mycaean Civilisation (1983), Etruskovia / Etruscans (1984), Skýti / Scythians (co-author B. Novotný, 1990, 1995) and numerous studies. At the Department of Classical Archaeology at the Trnava University lectures she on Ancient History, Review of Prehistoric Development and Archaeology of Peripheral Regions of the Ancient World.

One of the first Classical Archaeology graduates from the Trnava University. She finished her PhD thesis at the same Department in 2012. She specializes in Roman Jewelry; Classical and Roman Provincial Archaeology and participates in research projects and organizing activities of the Department of Classical Archaeology. Since 2016 she is part of Slovak team for survey and protection of underwater archaeological heritage in Slovakia.
