Hospodárske dejiny ako integrálna súčasť dejín majú svoje pevne stanovené miesto v systéme historickej vedy, pretože bez ich poznania nie je možné zachytiť mnohé iné súvislosti v dejinnom vývoji. Predmetom výskumu hradných panstiev a ich hospodárskeho a sociálneho vývoja je skúmanie celej škály vzťahov a výsledkov ľudskej činnosti, kde môžeme panstvá definovať ako výrobné podniky v kontexte rastlinnej a živočíšnej výroby, lesníctva, domácej a cechovej remeselnej výroby, manufaktúr, obchodu, cenových a mzdových vzťahov, vývoja priemyselných odvetví, dopravy a v mnohých ďalších kategóriách a súvislostiach. Za spoločný znak hospodárenia panstiev môžeme považovať výrobu, teda proces vytvárania hmotných prostriedkov či statkov, potrebných pre život spoločnosti. Tieto vzťahy je možné sledovať v rámci určitých celkov, v tomto prípade feudálnych panstiev.
Phenomenon of the castle estates and the determinants of their development in the modern period
An economic history as an integral part of history has own fixed place in the system of the historical science because without its knowledge the many other connections in the historical development are impossible to the capture. A subject of the research of the castle estates and their economic and social development is a research of whole range of relationships and results of human activity where we can define the estates as the manufactories in the context of the plant and animal production, forestry, domestic and guild craft production, manufacturories, trade, price and wage relations, development of the industries, transport and in the many other categories and contexts. As a common character of the economy of the estates we can consider a production, so the process of the creating material means or goods which were necessary for a life of the society. These relationships can be observed within the definite units, in this case the feudal estates.
