Čo charakterizuje situáciu človeka dnes? Aké sú nové okolnosti jeho života vo svete, v ktorom sa otriasli (pandémiou, sociálnymi a politickými problémami, vývojom technológií) základy, ktoré sa zdali byť pevné? Človek sa ocitol zaskočený a v nestabilnej situácii, narušili sa jeho istoty, viera, piliere, na ktorých staval – vedecky, politicky i filozoficky. Je to správa o konci veku človeka alebo hraničná udalosť, ktorá prináša novú koncepciu ľudského? Dištinkcie, ktoré vznikali pri vymedzovaní človeka voči neživému, animálnemu i neľudskému, stratili presvedčivosť a filozofia sa opäť zásadným spôsobom stretáva s biológiou, kultúra s prírodou, človek sa nanovo konfiguruje vo vzťahoch s druhými, so svetom techniky, vznikajú etické otázky týkajúce sa AI. Výskumnú tému projektu budeme realizovať v reláciách ľudské – neľudské – nie-ľudské, ľudské – umelé, prírodné – kultúrne, a to tak, že sa zameriame na reflexiu týchto konceptuálnych ohnísk a na preskúmanie charakteristík, ktoré vznikajú na osi týchto vzťahov.
What characterizes the situation of man today? What are the circumstances of his life in a world whose foundations have been shaken (by a pandemic, social problems, rise of technology)? Man is in an unstable situation, his scientific, political and philosophical points of reference have been questioned. Is this a sign of the end of the age of man or a liminal event that brings about a new concept of the human? Distinctions that previously helped to distinguish man from the inanimate, the animal and the inhuman have lost their relevance. Philosophy is again confronted with biology in a fundamental way, as is culture with nature. Man configures himself anew in his relations with others, with the world of technology, ethical issues connected to AI emerge. We will investigate the relations between the human/the inhuman/the nonhuman, the human/the artificial, the natural/the cultural. While reflecting on these concteptual contexts we will examine the characteristics that originate from the axis of these relations.
