are inviting to participate in the International Conference:
COMMUNICATION THROUGH THE AGES: PEOPLE, OBJECTS, IDEAS
(FROM THE BRONZE AGE TO LATE ANTIQUITY)
Update: September 15th, 2020
At the time of our previous message related to the international conference Communication through the Ages: people, objects, ideas (FROM THE BRONZE AGE TO LATE ANTIQUITY), which had been planned for 16-18 October 2020 in Trnava (Slovakia), we hoped that the pandemic would soon recede and we would be able to organize the conference. Unfortunately, the continuing uncertain situation has not allowed us to do so. Therefore, we decided to postpone the event to next year and schedule the conference for 15-17 October 2021.
We have also decided to publish conference proceedings earlier and present the publication to you during the conference. This means that we will need your manuscripts before 31 January 2021 (For more information see the attached guidelines).
Please let us know by the end of September 2020 whether you agree with the proposed changes and will be able to submit your registered contribution by 31 January 2021. Also, please let us know if you would like to participate in our conference on 15-17 October 2021.
If you have any questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to contact us at: email@example.com
Updated information and the guidelines will also be available on the website: http://ff.truni.sk/konferencia-2020
Thank you very much for your understanding, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Update: May 15th, 2020
In these hectic times of coronavirus pandemic, we would like to inform you briefly about the international conference Communication through the Ages: people, objects, ideas (FROM THE BRONZE AGE TO LATE ANTIQUITY), which has been planned to take place in Trnava, Slovakia on 16 –18 October 2020.
Even though the future course of the pandemic is unpredictable and the prognoses vary, we have not given up our intention to organize this scientific event, and would like to do so on the earliest available date. Despite the fact that modern technologies offer us the possibility of a videoconference, we would like to keep the traditional form, so that we can meet face to face and have invaluable personal discussions together. We hope that you share this view with us and are still planning to participate in the conference.
We will follow the situation closely and inform you whether the conference will take place on the original date or whether it will be postponed to 2021.
